Hyun Bin and Kim Tae Hee beats Won Bin and Ha Ji Won
The LPR Investigation Study held a survey to pick the year’s most popular Korean celebrities so far. The survey drew 1,321 male and female voters from five major regions of the nation, with ages ranging from 13 to 65. Hyun Bin (Hyeon Bin) and Kim Tae Hee were ranked first for actors and actresses.
For the male category, the results crowned Hyun Bin in first place with 30.6% of the votes. The actor gained mass popularity from the drama "Secret Garden", and his recent enlistment with the marines allowed him to remain as a hot topic for both fans and the general public.
Won Bin received 20.6% of the votes. Jang Dong-gun (14%), So Ji-sub (6.9%), Jeong Woo-seong (5.9%), Jang Hyuk (4.8%) and more.
Among actresses was Kim Tae Hee from "My Princess" with 18.6% of the votes, Ha Ji Won with 11.7%, Sin Min-ah (11.1%), Lee Min-jeong (10.4%), Song Hye-kyo (8.3%), Kim Hye-soo (6.6%) and more.
This survey took place 1:1 and the margin of error is ±2.70%P within confidence interval.
Meanwhile, other surveys conducted by the same lab resulted in Lee Seung-gi and Girls' Generation as the best in singers, Yoo Jae-seok and Sin Bong-seon in comedians and Park Ji-sung and Yuna Kim in sports.
