Smoking
I started to smoke when I was 17 years old. I did it because most of my classmates in college was doing it. In other words it was because of curiosity. I was not able to finish the whole school year. I ended up only finishing the first semester. After I stopped studying, my addiction to smoking ended as well. I thought I would never smoke again. But that did not happen. I met new people. And these people were smokers. Smoking became a part of my daily routine again. I tried to quit so many times but it was really hard. It seemed that smoking was like something I could not give up. I feel like if I stopped smoking, I will not be cool anymore. Then I met someone who made me give up smoking. She is none other than my girlfriend. I really thought I would die a smoker but since she was forcing me almost everyday to quit, I realized she will never stop so I had no choice but to quit. It was okay though since smoking can kill. She wants me to have a longer life and I love her for that.

I have a friend like that..She smokes because she hangs around another group of friends and her older sister who smokes because they think its cool. Its just kinda hard telling her its really stupid because her sister is like her role model...but yeah. I totally get where you're coming from.
ReplyDeleteGood job on quitting though - your gf is definitely a keeper;)
You're right, thanks for the comment! ^_^
