Itachi became a monster to protect Konoha and Sasuke? A shocking revelation!

In the latest episode of Naruto manga series, Tobi of Akatsuki revealed himself and a fact to Sasuke. He is indeed Uchiha Madara. Tobi's real identity was no shock to me since it was obvious. What really caught my attention was the idea that Itachi did all those killings for Konoha and Sasuke's sake. He did it to protect them. It is ironic since Sasuke thought that his brother was evil and that he had to eliminate him for his crimes. Sasuke used his hatred towards Itachi to be stronger. In the end, he was able to defeat Itachi. Itachi even lost his life in that battle. Before dying, Itachi was able to pass his eye techniques to Sasuke. He implanted amaterasu into Sasuke. He knew that Madara would eventually try to kill Sasuke so he set his amaterasu to activate every time Madara would attempt to use Sharingan and kill Sasuke. He really wanted to protect Sasuke. I hated Itachi for wiping out the entire Uchiha clan but now i feel sorry for him. It was painful to kill those who were close to him just to save more people. Now, i respect Itachi.
