Otsuka Ai recently gave birth to a baby girl. The exact date of the birth was not revealed, but it is said that the announcement was delayed in consideration of the victims of the Tohoku earthquake.
She expressed her thanks to her child, husband, mother and everyone who supported her with wishes for a safe birth. "I’m full of gratitude to this child that I’ve long wanted to meet. I’ve received a lifetime of happiness" she remarked.
Otsuka Ai has been married to RIP SLYME rapper SU since June 2010. Last September, she announced during a concert that she was pregnant, and it was reported by newspapers that she was expected to give birth this April.
