Security scanners which can see through passengers’ clothing and reveal details of their body underneath are being installed in 10 US airports. These advance scanning machines can detect and identify metal, plastics, ceramics, chemical materials and explosives. The only problem is, all those who will be inside these scanning machines will be revealing their sexual organs as well as other details of their bodies. According to the Transportation Security Administration or TSA, it protects privacy by blurring passengers' faces and deleting images right after viewing. Passengers can decline to go through a scanner, but they will face a pat-down. In the US, it has been reported that only four percent of passengers decline this new way of detecting weapons and other dangerous materials.
I hope no such thing will be set up in our airports. This new way of detecting dangerous things is a pain in the neck. Who would wanna show parts of his own body to strangers?
