13 years of friendship

I met 4 of my friends when i was still in high school. Our meeting though was extraordinary. I met Jay in Paco. I was playing Tekken that time then he approached and asked me where my brother was. I quickly recognized him as the one who always help my brother in finishing arcade games. I quickly answered i have no idea. After that incident, we were formally introduced to each other by my brother. But this time, Jay was with his friend Itok. I realized that we had the same hobbies (playing arcade games and anime) so I decided to hang out with them. We were skipping school that time. We would always go to malls to challenge other skilled individuals in an arcade game called King of Fighters. When we are not playing KOF, we go to video rental shops to look for anime series or movies. We were that desperate in having a collection of anime. There was a time we passed by a closed shop kinda near where i was staying. We took a peek inside since the glass was transparent. Something caught my attention. There was a drawing of Akane Tendo (an anime character from Ranma 1/2). I really liked the drawing so the following day I went there again. I asked the guy named Kenneth (owner of that place) who drew Akane Tendo. He then introduced me to Rodney. I made a joke that i went there hoping that i could have the drawing. Fortunately, Rodney just laughed and gave it to me. Rodney and I were talking about how i like Ranma 1/2 and that i would love to collect all the episodes of that anime. Noe overheard what we were talking about so he butted in and told us that he has the anime that we were talking about. He wanted a trade and eventually, I got to view Ranma 1/2. It was just a coincidence that all of us were playing KOF. We were united by anime and KOF that is why we often see each other and that made our friendship stronger. We met new friends along the way but we also had to kick some of them out of the group due to bad behavior.
