This Japanese drama was based on the popular manga of the same name which was created by Nakajo Hisaya.

The two main characters are Ashiya Mizuki, played by Horikita Maki and Sano Izumi, portrayed by Oguri Shun. If you're familiar with the Japanese drama Hana Yori Dango, you'll remember him giving life to the character Hanazawa Rui.

The story is about Mizuki running after Izumi to make him high jump again since she was the cause of his early retirement as an athlete. Izumi saved her from a group of delinquents who was trying to rape her. She got away but Izumi was hurt in the incident. This event took away his confidence, he retired from being an athlete because he thought he was not fit for it anymore. In order to bring back his confidence in himself and make him high jump again, Mizuki enrolled in the same high school as he is. The only problem is, the school is for males only.
