Bryant leads the Lakers to the western finals

Finally, the Los Angeles Lakers were able to put an end to the very determined Utah Jazz. Although it was Jazz's homecourt, Kobe Bryant was able to make 34 points, 8 rebound and 6 assists, good numbers which also made him player of the game. Pau Gasol on the other hand was able to contribute 17 points and 13 rebounds.

In the fourth quarter, Jazz had an opportunity to tie or even win the game because Jazz members were able to land in a lot of perimeter and three-points shots. Jazz were able to cut the lead to three. They just needed one three-pointer to tie the game. Actually they were able to make two three-point attempts but unfortunately those two shots did not fall in.

Each team showed their respect for one another. Fisher, a former member of Utah Jazz last season exchanged hugs with former teammate Deron Williams. Jazz fans cheered for their team very loudly while leaving the court for the last time.

The Los Angeles Lakers is now just waiting for their next opponent. New Orleans and San Antonio Spurs still have to battle it out in the hard court to become Lakers' next adversary.
